Paul Hollins

Paul is the Professor of Cultural Research Development in the School of Arts at the University of Bolton. A ‘first wave’ (ancient) punk, his PhD involved the application of a cybernetics lens to explore digital technologies. Paul has written extensively on punk, post-punk, electronic music and digital cultures and curated the 2017 PSN conference in Bolton. Paul is currently working collaboratively on several projects including a biography of the Human League, due for publication in late 2021, a retrospective collection of the Siouxsie and the Banshees File and a collection of essays highlighting punk culture in the provinces.
